The challenge

Supporting the evolution of the workplace

In a flexible workplace, activities are not concentrated in a single type of space.

Individual workstations, shared tables, meeting rooms and collaborative areas require access points in different positions. Distribution must therefore respond to the way spaces are actually used, not just to the geometry of the building.

A solution based solely on wall connections can create too great a distance between the infrastructure and the workstations. The result can be more extension leads, cable crossings and visible wiring.

Rigidly predetermined points can also become a constraint when the furniture arrangement, team composition or use of the spaces changes.

The challenge was to create a network of distributed access points that are technically accessible and visually integrated, able to support different configurations without dominating the interior architecture.

VersaFloor

At A2A, different floorings characterise spaces with different functions and uses. VersaFloor brings power and data into the heart of the spaces without interrupting the continuity of the surfaces and without requiring a specific technical solution for each finish. The lid is matched to the material specified for each area, integrating the access point into the floor design. The visible part changes, while the structure and installation logic remain the same: standardised and replicable.

The variety of materials is thus managed through a single system, simplifying coordination between design, supply and installation.
